Through our GetSet for Growth brand, we targeted underserved groups with specific targets for BaME and women, within the geography of deprived East London boroughs. Programme training content was focused on marketing and finance, which were identified as being areas of relative weakness in this area.
In the last 2 years of the collaboration programme with JP Morgan, engagement was higher than expected, with 560 businesses completing the programme. Gender and ethnicity targets were surpassed, supporting underserved communities. An additional £1.4m investment was secured by clients, with over 200 jobs created.
