YTKO Group is launching our award winning GetSet for Growth service across the Solent, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The GetSet Solent programme is for established businesses who have the opportunity and ambition to grow, but who need some focused, high quality support and/or investment readiness to enable them to access finance or funding, in order to unlock and achieve their potential.
This sees an expansion of YTKO’s footprint in the South and South West, building on our successful 40-year+ track record of advising both new and established businesses throughout our regional UK offices. Over 7,000 businesses have already benefitted from our growth support in public sector programmes alone.
YTKO, Deputy CEO, Lee Hughes says “Increasing skills, knowledge and confidence strengthens individuals and it strengthens businesses, and it makes the local economy much more resilient. Within the diverse business base in the Solent, enterprise is seen as a key driver of productivity and economic growth, with SMEs holding the key to this growth. We are delighted to have secured EU/UK Government funding to provide our support to businesses in the region”
GetSet Solent is focused on assisting business growth, competitiveness, productivity and profitability in the region. We aim to help businesses improve their leadership and management skills, strengthen their business growth models, strategies and value propositions, build their sales pipelines, and transform their abilities to generate greater interaction with prospects, and accelerate their conversion rates.
We help businesses address the two biggest barriers to growth faced by SMEs across the UK and Europe: business development (sales and marketing) and access to the right growth finance for their business. Our range of support services include workshops and masterclasses, 1:1 intensive coaching, networking events, Peer 2 Peer support and access to the interactive learning platform, GrowSmart.
The availability of business support, including business growth grants, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and HM Government, will benefit the growth potential of eligible businesses throughout the Solent.
Of course, the success of a small business doesn’t only impact its owners; it has a ripple effect throughout the local economy. “The whole point is if we can make small businesses more resilient and grow, and improve their profits and turnover, they will take on new people and create new jobs,” says YTKO CEO, Bev Hurley.
