YTKO Skills Bootcamps are practical, flexible training programmes designed to give people the skills employers value most. Backed by the Department for Education, they are free for learners (or part-funded by employers) and typically last up to 16 weeks.

Proven Success Across the Regions
Since launching under Waves 4 and 5 of the national programme, YTKO has worked with local and combined authorities across England to deliver training that works:
- Devon: 222 learners across Digital Marketing, Business Skills, Construction, and Leadership & Management, with 89% completing and 78% progressing.
- West of England: 260 learners across five subjects, with 91% completions and 75% progression.
- Solent: 224 learners supported in Digital Marketing Bootcamps. In our most recent delivery we achieved 117% enrolment, 121% completion, 103% applied learning, and 100% progression into new or better roles – compared with a national benchmark of just 55%.
Across all regions, YTKO consistently delivers 75–100% positive outcomes, compared to national averages of 36–37%.

Innovation in Delivery
YTKO Bootcamps are designed to be inclusive and flexible. We combine online workshops, peer learning, and 1:1 mentoring, making it easier for people with jobs, families, or caring responsibilities to take part.
Our outreach ensures underrepresented groups are included. In Solent, for example, we partnered with the Havant Youth Employment Hub to support young people into work and used the Front Lawn Community Hub as a delivery venue, embedding training in trusted local spaces and widening access to those who might not otherwise engage.

Building on Success
YTKO is now delivering Wave 6 contracts (2025/26), with 42% of our annual target in some regions already recruited within just two months. In the Solent region, the success of our Digital Marketing Bootcamp delivery over waves 4 and 5 has enabled YTKO to extend Digital Marketing delivery into wave 6 as well as inspired commissioner-confidence to enable us to expand our offer into the new subject areas of Business Development & Sales and Creative: Gaming
