YTKO provides innovative, award-winning business and finance support for start-ups and for growth-ambitious SMEs in both the public and private sector. We are now looking to immediately expand our team following a prestigious, high profile contract win in the Cambridge and Peterborough region, to be led by an exceptional Programme Director reporting directly into to the Chief Executive.
As Programme Director, you’ll need to deliver a first-class business growth service for ambitious, high-growth potential clients, including the management of a significant £multi-million grant fund to support SMEs investing in their growth, achieve all contract outputs and outcomes, ensure high satisfaction levels from, and tangible benefits for, all our clients, and make sure that both the programme and YTKO are consistently are held in high regard.
You will need to inspire, motivate, develop and line manage the initial mobilisation team of business growth consultants, marketers, partnership manager and support staff to deliver peak performance in accordance with YTKO’s values. You will also need to work effectively and seamlessly with project partners and build robust and enduring partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and referral partners to ensure the project as a whole is successful.
This role is for someone who epitomises all the things that make YTKO special – to really have that “magic dust”. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving internal and external environment with considerable autonomy, and have the ability to stay calm and maintain great performance even when under pressure and be driven by making a difference.
You’ll have a strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively, coupled with demonstrable experience in running a business, discrete business unit with P&L responsibility, or significant senior business support experience, and underpinned with a proven track record of robust project and operational management.
You’ll be an effective team leader able to engender commitment, loyalty and exceptional performance from the team so that stretch outputs and outcomes are achieved on time and on budget, and highly skilled at building and maintaining strong stakeholder and partner relationships.
You will be a confident and articulate public speaker, an enthusiastic ambassador for the project, the region’s businesses, and for YTKO. You’ll have a can-do, hands on approach, highly motivated, confident and articulate, with drive, integrity, passion and entrepreneurialism in equal measure. And you’ll definitely be looking to develop a long-term career with us!
