We are now looking for exceptional people for a significant immediate expansion of our team in the Cambridge and Peterborough region due to a high-profile contract win including a Business Growth Coach. Previous experience of running/growing a successful business is a significant advantage for these roles, Alternatively, if you have managed a discrete business unit with P&L responsibility or senior expertise, preferably in marketing/business development/sales; finance; or leadership/management disciplines, this would be beneficial.
Our experienced business growth coaching/consulting teams in our publicly funded portfolio hold a range of responsibilities. These may start with the project mobilisation phase and the building of trusted relationships and referral partnerships across the specific geography with business and sector networks, and private, public and academic organisations of all kinds. Project inception periods are also heavily focused on promoting the service through a range of parallel outreach, marketing and networking activities.
Business growth coaches must not only have strong business, sector and functional expertise to bring to clients, but proven abilities to engage groups and convey knowledge effectively through a blend of existing training workshops, growth accelerators and peer2peer action learning cohorts (online and face to face), 1:1 business coaching, mentoring, e-learning, and commercial consultancy. The ability to build trust quickly and effectively is key to making a better impact.
This role is for someone who is a real hands-on self-starter, with great interpersonal skills. You’ll be an enthusiastic, highly motivated, entrepreneurial team player, confident and articulate. You’ll really enjoy being part of a cohesive, focused team and be driven by achieving high quality results, working at pace, hands-on in a fast moving environment – being as entrepreneurial as our clients.
