Overview of Role:

This role is for a full-time Administration & Events coordinator to support an exciting project which is supporting skills and innovation in the construction sector. The role is part of the Workforce for the Future programme, delivered by YTKO in partnership with the West of England Combined Authority in collaboration with Bristol Housing Festival and MOBIE. The programme is funded by the West of England Combined Authority and the European Social Fund.

The project on which the successful candidate will be work is Unlocking MMC for SMEs which aims to address skills gaps for traditional SME builders in relation to Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). This is a key role to help traditional construction businesses to become involved in these new methods of house building where a recognised knowledge gap exists. 

A key role in the project, the Administration & Event Co-ordinator – WFTF will help to support the Project Director to arrange events and help coordinate YTKO’s network of partners to make sure that we raise the profile of the project across the entire West of England region. 

Working with a small team you will be expected to undertake the following:

  • Arranging events – booking venues, managing attendee bookings, processing payments, promoting attendance, and organising event marketing collateral 
  • Supporting the marketing promotion across social media, video testimonials, press releases, newsletters 
  • Administration duties, including finance processing, office management, quarterly project reports and claims preparation
  • Ensure that our client evidence records and CRM system are complete, accurate and up to date, and provide high-quality, timely, accurate and intelligent reporting in line with contract requirements
  • Proactively develop efficient, trusted and effective working relationships at appropriate levels across a wide range of public and private sector partners and stakeholders and represent the project appropriately through attendance relevant forums and meetings
  • Deliver excellent client service at all times to funders and partners. The maintenance of our quality standards and building of a strong reputation is of great importance, especially as a new provider in the area.
  • Proactively seek to add value to the service, our clients, funder and partner, and the YTKO Group as a whole
