Senior Enterprise Advisor – Swindon and Wiltshire

Location: Swindon and Wiltshire
Contract: Full time, fixed term contract July 2020–February 2023
Salary: £34,000–£37,000 depending on skills and experience

YTKO, one of the UK’s leading providers of enterprise support, are looking for a Senior Enterprise Advisor to join their Swindon & Wiltshire based team delivering start-up and growth support to individuals and businesses as part of a consortium of partner organisations, funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The role would provide start-up support under our Outset brand.

The role blends strategic and operational responsibilities directly supporting clients; facilitating group training sessions, providing 1:1 support to entrepreneurs, assessing the feasibility of business plans. You will also be expected to build and enrich an effective network of stakeholders, referral partners, influencers, service providers, networks and organisations across the public and private sector across Swindon & Wiltshire.

You will support the Project Manager in the management of a small team, including deputising for them as required to ensure that contract outputs are achieved.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, using initiative, drive and entrepreneurialism to do what it takes to further clients’ and YTKO success in the area. An understanding of and ability to deal with the challenges faced by business start-ups and SMEs as well as knowledge of local and national political and economic issues is key.

Experience of leading European Regional Development funded projects is desirable but not essential. Car and clean driving licence are essential.
