Project Support Officer – Swindon and Wiltshire

Location: Swindon and Wiltshire
Contract: Full time, fixed term contract July 2020–February 2023
Salary: £23,000–£26,000 depending on skills and experience

YTKO, one of the UK’s leading providers of enterprise support, are looking for a Project Support Officer to join their Swindon & Wiltshire based team delivering start-up and growth support to individuals and businesses as part of a consortium of partner organisations, funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The role is supporting the Senior Enterprise Advisor and Project Manager working to help individuals and business owners gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to start and grow a business. Responsibilities include managing the relationships with partner organisations and funders to ensure information and data are compiled to meet deadlines for funding claims. The role is pivotal to the success of the project and you will be the key interface between partners and the project team.

The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience of managing data processes and quality assurance of evidence to support claims for regular reports to funders. The ability to record financial data and project outputs is key as well as providing support with client paperwork and processing of data using a CRM system.

The ability to take responsibility for monitoring systems and engage with individuals from a range of partner organisations and projects from the private, public and third sector is essential. You will also be expected to carry out administrative duties including arranging meetings and events, the distribution of marketing collateral and being the first point of contact for enquiries.

Experience of working on European Regional Development funded projects is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication & IT skills are required.
