YTKO invited to deliver custom enterprise training courses
Following the success of the training courses delivered as part of the acclaimed Yorkshire Enterprise Fellowship (YEF) programme, YTKO has been invited to deliver a series of specialist enterprise training for academics.
The first course was delivered for members of the Engineering Innovation Institute at the University of Hull in late 2010. Covering topics such as intellectual property and business finance, the course is a great introduction for academics to get a taste of the world of business and enterprise.
Our next one-day course will be for the Multidisciplinary Cardiovascular Research Centre at the University of Leeds and will feature case studies of two spin-out companies that were created by former Yorkshire Enterprise Fellows.
The methodology developed under YEF is held as a model of international best practice in academic enterprise and, later this month, YEF Director Dr Suzanne Emmett will deliver two workshop events at invitation of the University of Antwerp.
