Recent Proof of Concept projects for Academic Researchers include the market validation of two biomarkers, a software to simulate visibility in a smoke laden environments, a healthcare device for promoting abdominal fat metabolism during exercise, a new CT Shield (ShiedAll™), a bioreactor and for an UKAS accredited Biomaterial and Medical Device testing company. In 2006, she provided the European business strategy for The Multidisciplinary Assessment of Technology Centre for Healthcare (MATCH), a multi-million euro collaboration between five UK universities. She has contributed to the DG Enterprise Europe INNOVA Injection consortium, evaluating innovation financing for the medical devices industry.
Virginie has worked with SOHO companies and start-ups – e.g. FireExit, Linguamatics, Novalia, Optysinx, Qonnectis – funded under the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) Proof of Concept/Market programme and developed market entry strategies for corporates including Digital Equipment, Dupont Dow Elastomers, IBM PSG, Nokia, Progress Software, Sun Microsystems, Xerox PARC, and Xaar.
Her considerable inquisitive mind and analytical skills has involved her in major consultancy projects in manufacturing, technology and R&D, and in directing YTKO teams to implement and evaluate business development and marketing strategies.
