Rob brings a wealth of experience of the finance industry to the team and has held senior roles in loan underwriting in several companies, enabling him to understand the requirements that has to be met by businesses that are looking to obtain essential funding.

Having gained valuable managerial experience in the personal loan sector, Rob was headhunted to lead an underwriting team with United Dominions Trust, which ultimately became Black Horse Finance, a subsidiary of Lloyds TSB. Subsequently, Rob gained extensive sales experience with other major motor financing organisations including GE. Immediately before joining Outset Finance in Plymouth, Rob was the area manager for an independent leasing company responsible for sales development and the underwriting of leasing facilities to SMEs in South Devon.

Rob specialises in the development of robust and viable finance propositions through thoroughly researched and polished business plans and cashflow forecasts. He is passionate about encouraging the Plymouth business community to develop strong and long-term commercial relationships and form strong collaborations whenever possible. As a highly visible businessman in the city, Rob has built up an extensive network of contacts in the Plymouth business community, which has seen him elected on to the Chamber of Commerce board in April 2010.
