Gregg’s extensive knowledge and contacts ensure SMEs are introduced to the right type of funder for the right funding strategy at Outset Finance. Through mentoring, training and guidance he is able to ensure they have an investment ready proposition for the relevant funder, enabling them to grow successfully with minimum risk. This is also achieved through three month’s of post funding support, which ensures they receive as much assistance as required and their systems are in place and in working order.

Gregg started his career at the Head Office of Western Trust & Savings, specialising in self-employment, where he worked in debt recovery and collections. From here he joined a Finance House and delivered workshops and training to various companies to increase their sales in asset finance and secured lending.

After five years in asset funding and business finance Gregg became a Financial Advisor for Lloyds TSB and then Legal & General, dealing with both individuals and businesses. Seven years later Gregg joined a small company working in telecoms, which at the time had 20 employees and a £2m turnover. Through a funding strategy and business plan created by Gregg, he enabled the company to grow to a £6m turnover employing 100 employees and over 40 individual subcontractors.

Subsequently Gregg formed a company with one of the Directors, which specialised in Project Management for companies like Transport for London and Powerperfector Plc. He remained as their Finance Director for two years before joining YTKO to utilise the invaluable experience he had accumulated in delivering the Outset Finance project under the Understanding Finance for Business banner.
